All our trainers are certified and experienced trainers – having completed the appropiate Train The Train courses.
Lucy Baxter – Lead Trainer
Lucy has extensive experience in the care sector having worked in residential care homes before switching to the home care sector. Her performance led her promoted to Supervisor and then Care Co-ordinator. Lucy is now undertaking her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care Services (Adults’ Management).
In her role as Care Manager she is responsible for the ethical running of a care business, a role which ensures that the interests and wellbeing of all customers and staff are met. She manages the day to day running of effective care service delivery. Lucy ensures all customers receive bespoke care packages designed to meet their individual care and support needs.
She is responsible for ensuring the service is well led, safe, effective, and responsive and meets the fundamental standards within the RQIA regulatory framework.
With a passion for delivering the best care possible to everyone who uses their service Lucy wanted to ensure that those joining the industry had the best available grounding. Since completing her training certification Lucy has delivered training to a variety of groups and individuals.
Heather McClure – Registered Trainer
Heather has worked in the home care sectors for several years. In 2014 she completed her NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care. Her hard work, professionalism and enthusiasm for delivering extremely high standards of care led to her rising to the position of Lead Supervisor – leading a team of supervisros to ensure that the best quality care was being delivered. She completed her Train the Trainer certification in June 2017.
